Welcome to the homepage of 徐芳 (Xu, Fang)
Fang Xu is a Max Weber fellow at the European University Insitute and a researcher at the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel. She obtained her doctorate in quantitative economics from Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel in 2008 and holds a Master in Economics from Humboldt-University Berlin. Her Bachelor degree of Economics was awarded by Nankai-University in China. Since completing her graduate level studies she has launched the project, “Theoretical and empirical studies of global current account imbalances”, funded by the Fritz-Thyssen Foundation.
Her research interest comprises time series econometrics and empirical analyses on topics in international macroeconomics. Her studies have been published (or are accepted for publication) in journals such as Computational Statistics & Data Analysis, Journal of International Money and Finance, The Manchester School, and Applied Economic Letters.
