I taught a Law and Neuroscience and Neuroethics course, designed for doctoral and postdoctoral fellows, at the European University Institute (with Dennis Patterson, second term 2012).

Other academic activities (selected)

Ethics committee member. Since 2010, I am a member of the Ethics Committee at SISSA Neuroscience. SISSA is a graduate school and research institute in mathematics, physics and neuroscience based in Trieste (Italy.) We review studies, submitted by researchers who work with human subjects or animals, to check their consistency with the national and international regulations, most of which concern ethical standards. The Committee consists of a veterinary doctor, a neurobiologist, two neuropsychologists and myself.
